New Vaporizer2 version released - 3.1.2

Today we have released the new version 3.1.2 of Vaporizer 2.

Among many other changes here are the highlights:

  • Improved Windows installer that allows to change folders for presets, wavetables and noises and it stores the selection for later updates
  • Installer now detects CPU support for SSE2 / AVX vector extensions and suggests installation option
  • New standard licensing system based on serial numbers (all existing licenses remain untouched) - read more here and here
  • MIDI program change now freely definable across four banks (A-D) in the preset editor

Sample to Wavetable feature

This is a quick tutorial that shows how to use the sample to wavetable feature in Vaporizer2 to create wavetables.

First, just drag any sample into the sampler section.

Simply choose 'Create stereo wavetable patch' from the 'Create patch' context menu.

Vaporizer 2 creates two wavetables from the sample. One for the left channel and one for the right channel.

MSEG envelope 5 will automatically be used to match the playback speed of the original sample.

Now you can add some bus effects or even wavetable effects to change the sound as you like.

Vaporizer2 full macOS 10.15 Catalina support

With version 3.1.1 Vaporizer2 is fully compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina.
All binaries are signed with Apple and the plugin was tested in major DAWs.
